Tournament time take II when the Big Boys tip off the 2025 NBA Playoffs with the Play-in tournament scheduled for Tuesday 4/15 and Wednesday 4/16.  After we shuffle through that early elimination format we move to the Best of 7 first round games starting Saturday April 19th.

Both #1 Seeds Oklahoma City and Cleveland bring formidable 60+ Wins resumes to the floor this opening weekend.   OKC was favored by 10 or more 34 times while Cleveland was installed as a Double Digit favorite 30 times in 2024.

Lets not overlook the defending champion Boston Celtics who were favored by 10 or more 43 times this past season and they took the worst of the trifecta results.  Boston was 18-22-2 $ATS while OKC was 22-10-2 and the Cavs tallied 16-14 $ATS.

The other #2 Seed in the West was earned by the Houston Rockets who managed 11 tries DD favs and they made money going 6-5 $ATS during the regular season.  Only 29 times has a team with less than 60 Su wins laid 10 or more in the first four games of the opening round since 2003.
